Founded by Jason Hughes in Kawerau in 2012, Hutec has grown from a local engineering business into a workforce of more than 120. From our humble beginnings in our first workshop in Kawerau, the business has now expanded to two sites in Kawerau, Taupo and Tokoroa.

Our strength lies in the depth of our technical capability, the breadth of our industry experience and our ability to turn complex challenges into practical, high-performing solutions. From engineering and design through to project delivery and maintenance, we provide end-to-end capability across the industrial, energy and manufacturing sectors.
