The Scope

Hutec has manufactured, assembled and commissioned a number of pultrusion machines for Pultron Composites, supporting the international manufacture of glass fibre-reinforced polymer (GFRP) reinforcing bar.

Each machine involves approximately 2,500 labour hours at Hutec’s Kawerau facility. The scope includes international procurement of specialist electrical and hydraulic components, CNC machining, fabrication and painting, mechanical assembly, manufacture and wiring of electrical control modules, and full machine commissioning.

Once completed and tested, the machines are containerised at Hutec’s facility ready for export to Pultron’s international manufacturing operations.
