Junior Mechanical Engineer
A great opportunity for a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our small team in Eastern BOP. This role focuses on assisting the existing team in delivering engineering projects of varied scope. You’ll need to be technically astute, experienced with 3D modelling solidworks, able to perform FEA calculations and a sound knowledge of Word and Excel. A positive attitude, professionalism and exceptional communication skills are a must. This is a real opportunity for a junior or graduate Engineer with some real-world work experience.

We are currently seeking trade qualified Fitters, Fabricators, Valve Technicians, Heavy Machinists, Welders and Coded Welders.
Qualifications and Experience
• Level 4 Maintenance & Diagnostics, Relevant Trade Certification, or equivalent qualification relevant to role. Level 5 (advanced trade cert) would be an advantage, but is not essential.
• Experience with interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and clear understanding of limits, fits and tolerances.
• Hands on practical experience in a range of industrial sectors, preferably energy, pulp and paper, dairy, and wood products and processing.
• Resourceful, efficient, motivated, and able to work in isolation when required.
